BASIC SAFETY/MEDICAL COURSES>

If you want to divide the course over (a maximum of) two years, it is possible under certain conditions.
Valid reasons are:
1. you are using a visa which has a shorter validity than the duration of the course; or
2. your sailing schedule does not allow you to attend the entire school year; or
3. another significant reason, as adjudged by the director of the Nautical College.

For the extra school year, provided there is sufficient room in class, you only pay the registration fee.
Please send your request (at least) two weeks prior to start of the school year to our administration: [email protected]

A student loan can be offered when you cannot pay the fees at once.
The Henk Wever Fonds is a fund which supports students that are already working in the world of sailing.
When they choose to professionalize themselves and become officer or captain, they can apply for a loan if their current financial situation doesn’t allow them to invest in their education themselves.
Students will thus be able to develop themselves professionally.
