In order to get your Certificate of Proficiency (needed to get your Certificate of Competency) you need to prove days of sailing, and perform tasks
The Record book can be downloaded below. Also download and fill in the application form provided below.
Please make sure of the following:
- Sending the task book and application form by mail is at your own risk! We prefer if you send it digitally.
- If certain tasks can not be signed, please explain with a short note in the record book
- If you are finished, please send the task book and the application form digitally in one mail to [email protected].
For large files use WeTransfer. Do NOT send links to Google drive, dropbox etc.
- There are costs involved for the processing of your request, please check our page with school fees
- Be aware that it can take up to three weeks to process your application, and longer during vacation and/or exam periods
For students graduating from 2025 (KZV) and 2026 (GZV), there is mandatory participation in the practical day.
You can get an exemption for this if you have a captain or skipper complete the below document Checklist deck skills ezs.
From July 2026 onward, a Practical test at the school will be part of the application process.
